ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS 7th-12th GRADE!
We need coaches! (athletes of all abilities are welcome!)
EASTCHESTER SEPTA/BACKYARD SPORTS is returning with our after-school club, specifically for our Special Needs students from 1st to 8th grade. We are looking for young athletes and student leaders from Eastchester to become volunteer "coaches" to work one-on-one with students.
Where: Anne Hutchinson School: 3:15 to 4:00 pm.
When: Tuesdays, six weeks: 04/09/2024, 4/16/2024, 04/30/2024, 05/07/2024, 5/14/2024 and 5/21/2024. Makeup dates only if needed: 05/28/2024 and 06/04/2024. (100% attendance is NOT required, but strongly encouraged)
What's Next: Click the link above to volunteer, and attend a mandatory volunteer meeting on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. Details and reminders will follow. Please sign up by 3/22 so that we can ensure that we have enough volunteers before the volunteer meeting on 4/2 which is the first day back after the Spring Break.
Coaching is a wonderful chance to help your peers, and you'll benefit from knowing you are contributing to promoting their self-image and socialization skills.
