Bingo Planning is Underway!
As Eastchester Special Education PTA (“SEPTA”) board members, we are writing to ask for your support of our popular BINGO & BROWNIES fundraiser. Our signature event which is held only once every 2 years, is set for Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the Holy Trinity Social Hall in New Rochelle, NY. This event always sells out with over 300 attendees!
Our planning is underway to make it a fun filled evening, with the amazing raffle prizes, bingo games, grab bags, and of course, brownies!!!
Our donors will be acknowledged in both the event’s program and in a continuous slide show during the event. We are in need of product donations of every type and value --services, tickets, gift basket items, and gift certificates. Every donation is fully tax deductible.
SEPTA supports all of Eastchester’s Special Education students, Kindergarten through High School, via teacher grants, After School Club staffing, and funding the “SCHOOL to WORK” Program, SEPTA supplements generous grants from the ASCAP Foundation and Focus for Health to provide Music Therapy as well as from the Eastchester School Foundation, County TV & Appliance & The Eastchester 5K Committee to provide Canine Integrative Therapy to special ed as well general ed students coping with stress or emotional difficulties. We hold family events such as our Santa Brunch and we bring awareness of Autism to our community on our Light Eastchester Blue day in April. We funded class trips and provided technology to special education classes SEPTA provides generous scholarships to graduating HS students and mentors. We are constantly meeting and planning other ways to ensure our students have well-rounded, inclusive lives! Learn more by visiting us at at eastchestersepta.org
