Giving Retriever Set to Return to EUFSD

Eastchester SEPTA & The Eastchester School Foundation (ESF) partner to bring Therapeutic Assistance Dog Training into the special education classrooms at Anne Hutch and Waverly.

SEPTA with support from the Eastchester School Foundation will bring this program into it's third year in the district. Giving Retriever’s curriculum"teaches children to work collaboratively to train the Assistance Dogs while practicing life skills: focus, concentration, patience, timing-sequencing, planning, teamwork and cooperation.
