ASCAP Recognizes the Importance of Music Therapy! Lisa Sandagata, MA, MT-BC of the Music Conservatory of Westchester's Music Therapy Institute engages students with autism and developmental delays in the Eastchester School District in Westchester, NY. The music therapy program provides opportunities for students to explore songwriting and improvisation, addressing cognitive, social and emotional goal areas through this motivating, creative experience.
